Decía yo en mi apuro:
"Excluido soy de delante
de tus ojos";
pero Tú oíste la voz
de mis ruegos
cuando a ti clamé.
Salmo 31: 22
¿Alguna vez te has sentido insignificante, frágil, débil e inútil delante de Dios?

"In my alarm I said,
I am cut off from
your sight!
Yet you heard my cry for mercy
When I called to you for help.”
- Psalm 31:22
Did you ever feel insignificant, frail, weak and useless before God? In this verse the Psalmist seems to express these feelings. Maybe he compares himself to others whom he considered strong and perfect, and in this comparison with them, he thinks of himself "I am too sinful, with too many faults, for God to consider me". However, he recognize that God in His infinite goodness and mercy, hear his prayers.
God is not looking for spiritual giants or bright and perfect people. What God is looking for is ordinary people, like any of us, with the faith of a child and with a humble and sincere heart. The Lord lifts up the meek, the weak and tired and shows his love, his power and greatness, this is the blessing that Jesus spoke: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. "
Recognizing our weaknesses, admitting our imperfections, being aware of our limitations prepares us to receive abundant grace from the Lord and rely entirely on the power of our God. God's absolute greatness is evident in our weakness.
